Our Organization
NOURISH is a non-profit organization focused on supporting under- privileged students through their education institutions. The aid we provide is intended to keep them focused at school, with the hope that they will become successful upon graduating and later contribute towards the betterment of their communities.
Our Vision
To encourage the development and well rounded growth of every child regardless of background to reach their full potential, empowering future generations to benefit the community. We call this vision ‘THE NOURISH EFFECT’.
Our Team
Nourish is run full time by two passionate individuals,
Sam and Anis, both of whom graduated from the US and
the UK respectively. Between us, we have more than 20
years of combined corporate experience and 7 years
running various international charity organizations
before founding Nourish in 2018.
Our fellow board members come from a wide variety of
backgrounds including teachers, engineers, finance and
corporate executives. Their wealth of experience guides
the organization towards achieving our vision.

Foundation Rolf Schnyder
Nourish Malaysia in partnership with Foundation Rolf Schnyder are supporting SK Damansara Damai 2 special needs students living with autism, blindness and hydrocephaly by providing them with nutritious food and education supplies. In addition, our assistance extends to the 5 neediest families who take home monthly supplies of basic essential foods.

CAN I CLAIM MY DONATION AGAINST TAX?
Unfortunately we are not tax exempt yet, though we are working on it. We will update you on the progress of our application in due time.
HOW DO YOU SELECT YOUR RECIPIENTS?
We work with educators to identify the most promising under-privileged students at the lowest bracket of the B40 income group (less than RM1,000 household income per month). Our recipients typically have 3 or more dependents.
DO YOU ACCEPT ZAKAT?
Yes, we do. Please indicate ‘Zakat’ in your payment reference or whenever you make the donation.
DO YOU DISBURSE CASH TO PROJECTS?
Our policy is to disburse aid in the form of food or education supplies only. We do not disburse cash.
I'M AN INDIVIDUAL WHO NEEDS AID, CAN YOU HELP ?
Our goal is to support education through institutions in the poorest communities, and monitor progress through that institution. If your child is enrolled in a school, talk to the teachers to get in touch with us. With the help of the teachers, we will assess you and your community’s situation based on our internal criteria, logistics and budget to see if we can help.

Our aim is to supplement a financially challenged but deserving student and his/her family with monthly basic food aid (rice, eggs, cooking oil, etc) as an incentive for the family to keep sending the child to school.

SPECIAL NEEDS WING
Nourish was introduced to SK Damansara Damai 2 in early 2018 and we were taken aback by the images of the 29 special needs students (auKsKc, blind, cerebral palsy) learning on the floor due to a shortage of desks and chairs.
